Welcome to your next immunity challenge!
For this challenge, you will be collaborating with a loved one in a competition called, BLIND ENGINEERING and here’s how it works!
This competition is on an appointment basis. You will need to find a partner to do it with. They need to have at least 15 mins of availability from 9AM EST today to 9PM EST tomorrow night.
It is important that you have 10 cups and a full deck of cards. You can have it or your partner can have it.
BUT at least one of you needs to have it.
This competition is done on ZOOM, so please make sure you and your partner have access to this app / software.
The competition will start with the SEEING PARTNER being able to look at an image. The image will have 15 items. 10 cups and 5 cards.
Their job is to absorb as much information as possible and remember the exact placement of all the objects. Here’s a simplified example
The seeing partner can take as much time as they want to memorize everything. No writing or taking photos allowed.
When they are satisfied. They may ask for their partners to join them. At this point, the image will disappear. They will NOW PASS all the information to their partners.
“So you will need two solo cups. The first cup on the left is upside down. The drinking side is facing down and the bottom of the cup is facing the ceiling. (got that?) Okay, the next cup is on the right. That one will have the drinking side facing the ceiling.
In front of those cups, you have two cards. The cup on the left has the jack of clubs. The cup of the right has king of spades”
When the other partner is satisfied, they will recreate everything. At this point, the other partner will no longer be allowed to speak.
When the partner says “FINAL SUBMISSION” we will stop the time and compare your submission and the initial image. If you recreate everything correctly you will get 15 pts.
Every incorrect or misplaced item will get your points deducted by 1. At the end of the competition, the player with the most points will win.
PS: In case of a tie, the team that used the LEAST amount of time will win this challenge. Remember, it’s up to you to decide how you budget the 15 minutes (MAX TIME). You don’t want to rush too much but you also don’t want to be too slow. Points will matter over time.
GOOD LUCK!!
IMPORTANT
PLEASE let us know at least two hours ahead what time you'd want to do your challenge.
We wanna make sure there is a host available for you in this competition.
GOOD LUCK!
